This unique, handmade vessel is wheel-thrown using speckled stoneware and glazed in a beautiful variety of colors. Raw clay lines separate the sections, showcasing the natural beauty of the stoneware body.
The urn features a "jar" that rests atop a pedestal base, with a fitted lid designed to sit securely within the jar. When moving the urn, please always hold the lid in place with one hand to prevent it from falling off.
Design Details:
Front (Sun Side): Moody transparent blue sky, a slightly mustard yellow sun, and a royal blue lake.
Back (Moon Side): Matte black evening sky with a textured, bulbous white “lava” glaze moon and a midnight blue lake.
Lid: Matte black with subtle handcrafted character.*
Pedestal Base: Matte black and an opaque hunter green finish.**
Interior: Dark, moody green.

As a completely handmade piece, slight imperfections may be present, adding to its one-of-a-kind character. The lid has a slight crack on the top surface (does not go through). This can occur during high-temperature firing and is part of the handmade process. It does not compromise the integrity or function of the piece. Due to this imperfection, I am offering a $50 discount.
